Other feature event winners at Lake Cumberland Saturday night included Tom Curtsinger of Harrodsburg, Kentucky in the Open Wheel Modifieds ina close race between second place finisher Dennis Barton; Travis Preston of Berea, Kentucky taking the Super Dirt Stock feature event win; and Eddie Stewart of Manchester, Kentucky taking the Chevette win over Mike Todd.

Wheeler also took his fourth win in a row at Lake Cumberland Speedway as he took the win in the Certified Construction & Asphalt, Cropper powered Rocklet Pontiac GTO. Bryan Barber of Buffalo, Kentucky was third in the 40 lap main event in the Frank Revel Motorsports, PBM Performance, Budda Bert Transmissions Rayburn/PBM Performance Pontiac GTO.

After winning the third heat race event, pole sitter Tyrel Todd with outside pole sitter Bobby Wolter Jr. brought the 21 car field down to Noel Hargis'
green flag to start the 40 lap Coca-Cola event. Wheeler, who started in his fourth place starting position, took to the high line, and sped around Wolter and Todd to take the lead on the first green lap with Todd and Barber in tow. Bryan Barber would slip around Todd on the outside for the second position on the second lap. The first of four caution flags would wave on lap six for Bobby Wolter Jr. coming to a dead stop in turn four. The field would be re-lined with Wheeler coming back down to the restart with Barber, Todd, Aaron Hatton, and Chris Combs in that fifth position.

The field would look green until another yellow flag would wave on lap eleven for Sidney Sprague slowing in turn three. The field at this point was Wheeler up front with Barber second, Hatton, Combs, and Todd running fifth.
The field would stay clean and green for another nine laps until lap twenty-seven when Larry Gray came to a stop in turn four. On the restart it was still Wheeler, who had remained in control for the first twenty-seven laps then Chris Combs, who had already trucked his way up into the second spot and Barber third. On the restart the field would dive into one and come out of two and the field seemed to look clean and green again, but a maylay on the back-stretch going into turn three invloving Steve Hillard, Shannon Thornsberry, Greg Lucas, Bobby Wolter Jr., John Jackson and others would require the red flag to be displayed. When the field was lined back up, Hillard, the cause of the yellow flag was sent to the rear of the field and the race was restarted. The last yellow flag would fly on lap thirty-two for Tim York spinning in turn two. The field was lined back up with Wheeler still out fron with only eight laps to go in the event with Combs a close second at this point, Barber, Michael Chilton, and Aaron Hatton fifth.

Wheeler would get one last major charge from Combs on the final lap as they were nose-to-nose on the white flag lap with Wheeler pulling away on the back-chute with one car length separating the two and go on to take his sixth ever O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series presented by Arizona Sport Shirts feature event win of his career and the first 5 years of the Lexington, Kentucky based touring series. Fans were treated to an enjoyable A-Main event with that last lap keeping the fans on their toes but Wheeler went on to win the event over Combs, Barber, Chilton, and Aaron Hatton fifth. Previous Coca-Cola 40 winner Mike Marlar was sixth with Tyrel Todd, Justin Rattliff, Mike Jewell, and Tim Tungate rounding out the top-ten.
