"Where are they now?" Bo Smith

I'd like to know whatever happened to another one of our early heros, Bo Smith. Does he still race anywhere? I know he used to live in St. Charles. Bo was one of the best drivers in the modifieds in the late 80's and early 90's.

Does anyone know whatever happened to those popular allied twin brothers from Jefferson County?? Ambrose and Tom Kohler raced Fords in the sportsman class in the 80's and ran #'s 19 and 29.

I was just wondering about Bo Smith. We were watching a tape for Pevely's Mid-Season Championship night in 1986. Bo and Dixon were puttin on a show during the feature when Bo tangled with a lap car coming out of 4 and went head on (airborne) into the front straight wall and flipped end over end a few times. He wasn't fearin.'
 
I Heard Bo Races In The Carolinas But It Was Never Confirmed To Be True Would Like To Know Good Question The B7 Hasn't Been Seen In Years
 
He hasn't raced since mid 90's I guess. He's had a few oppurtunities, but not like he wanted. He has his own tool and die shop in St. Peters, does alot of bowling. I havn't talked to him lately, but don't be surprised to see him pop up in one of my cars a couple of times this year, probably at MC. I would like to see him run that track.
 
I have seen the Kohler Bros. at Pevely in the last few years. Didn't get a chance to talk to them though. Haven't seen hide nor hair of Bo Smith.
 
well i guess we know he is not in the carolina's i always loved watching bo race would love to see him again post if he is at mc i'll come just to watch him run
 
Remember seeing Bo and Ed Dixion come down with their "Mods" to run at several DIRT VS DIRT SOUTH shows in the Dallas Tx area back in the mid 80's... anyone have any old photos of those cars from the time that they would like to share with us..
 
I remember watching the infamous B7 "Superfly" late model at I-55!! He was my favorite driver then. I remember one feature in particular, because he lapped the entire field!!
 
One of the wildest flips I've seen was by the Super Fly. It was at Belle-Clair and he hit the back stretch wall and went sailing. The car was spinning side over side while in the air and landed very hard. The car was bent up^ in the front and up^ in the rear. Kinda low in the middle...... :D
