Where is the Pr0 4 Posse racing this W/E

Grange

Range 65
With the river rising, and chances of I-55 racing this weekend looking slim, Is anyone venturing out to a differnt track to race this weekend?

I seen Benton is paying $200 to win. Also, I heard some folks wanting to go to Tri-city.

Where is everyone going?

I don't know about you fellas...but Benton is a long drive...lots of gas when we have 4 cars to pull. Tri-City would be my best bet. Besides it's not as far away time wise. The last time we went to Benton it was 2:30am before we got home. At this point though...I'm itchin' to get out on ANY track, so as the old sayin' goes..."beggars can't be choosie"...I'll be happy to go any where I can talk Gerald into! ;)

I would hope to go to tri city. I need to get out in the cav and try it out. I think it would be better for me to try it out for the first time at tri city than i55 bc ive never raced a manual before. And i could care less if I came in last! :D

Grange where are you going???

By the way, back in the flood of 1993 I "think" I-55 only raced a handful of times (maybe 5 races). Not looking to good for 2008 season if this keeps up.

Not sure where or if we are going anywhere. Should know something by tomorrow. Probably Tri-City if anywhere cause have to work too late to make it to Benton in time.

Well, Gerald came in the office and went right back out on another repair...so I never got the chance to "beg" him to go to Tri-City. Guess I'll wait till he's had a good dinner, a shower and in a good mood. (yeah, I know how to work him..LOL)

Hopefully more of the gang from Pevely will go with all of us!

ok, not looking to good for us to go to Tri-City...He's being cranky. And the last thing I wanna do it tick him off by pushing the issue. Maybe I'll sic the kids on him! LOL

If we don't make it...I hope ya'all go there and kick some butt! as they say..."bring home the gold"!! But above all else...be careful and have fun!! :D

Well, whata ya know...

Gerald said that more than likely we'll take the kids over there to race. But he and I will sit out. :( So I guess it looks like we're going after all! See ya there guys!

Tell him if he needs his car to run up front, I would be happy to run it for him. Tell him thats the only way it will ever be in the front!!!!!!!:):):D

I may let Sparky hot lap and if he does good, race our car.

I am pretty sure Tri-City only hotlaps thw 2 classes that have the most cars there on a given night. just so you know. Pro-4s dont usually get to hotlap

According to the rule book, tires have to be the same size all the way around. That's the only big difference from Pevely that I see. Whether they enforce that or not, I don't know.

Good luck to all of you headed over tonight!

well Gary, i dont think they check tire size, but the heat winners and the top 5 in the feature get tire pressures checked. you must have at least 30 psi in all tires. i would make sure to have at least 32 because the old man that checks it usually lets a little out by accident. and if you are low, you get DQ. thats all i know.
