from what i heard at the last race at DuQuion tire rule will stay the same for now kart count is to good to change 12-13-08 there was 117 entrees and on 11-28-08 there was i think 120 or 130 karts i dont think Steve is going to change it

If you noticed all most everyone fast in the heats were on 33s in the heats and i believe you will see more burris in the features next time. Im also saying you wont be able to run the same burris all day and be fast but you can run a set in the heats and bolt on a different set for feature and be fast. I know on my youngest son in Jr2 we ran the same T3s all day and was extremely fast all day long, and will run the same set again in Jan. all day. Me personally I would prefer 33s because Musgraves burris tire program is one of the best in the country and is an advantage to who ever is on his cut 33s. but a racer can have a good set of T3s and use them all day compared to 2 sets of burris. JMO

I agree with John on this one. We were at the last race and i thought for sure the maxxis would be dominant tire. The track was cold and they mist it after every round of heats. The burris will run with the maxxis if the kart is right and the tires are good. If the temp in the building is higher than 50 then thats the point in time when the maxxis tire will begin to out run the burris.

Starting time at Duquoin
I would really like to see them push the starting times back a hour. We would really like to race there. But my husband works 365 a year, and it really hard for us to make a 3+ hour drive and be there in time for hot laps. We went last year and I think it started 1 hour later and we still got home at a good time. I have tried to put this on Steve web site but I can't get in. So if anyone wants to pass this along to his crew I would appreciate it. I have heard other people say they have to leave really early to get there by that time.
