Williams Tops LebanonMidway Mod Fallbrawl/Maycock Grabs Sprint Main

Lebanon,Mo.-Sat Night Racing action was fast and close as the LebanonMidwaySpeedway concluded its 1st annual Coca-Cola Classic Fall Brawl with over $42,000 in prize money was handed out
The action started with the Modified feature as Sean Williams led the field down to the green with 2 lap in the books.Tony Jackson Jr was right on his bumper as Danny Crane was charging to battle.Back in the pack,Jason Russell restarted 20th on the start and was picking off cars going to the front.Jackson and Williams continued the battle as Crane was working on the top side.Despite the repeated challanges,Williams held on to the top spot as the top 3 had settled in.Behind those 3,Eric Hudson and Jamie Ragland were battling for 4th while Russell was moving through the field.A final caution waved on lap 23 setting-up a last lap shootout,but Williams wouldn't be denied the 2,000 to win feature as Jackson,Crane,Hudson and Ragland completed the top 5.
The Winged Sprint Cars found Gabe Maycock grabbing the lead after starting on the pole as J.Kinder followed closely.Maycock had checked out in front whileKinder,Clint Todd,Joe todd and Eric Todd were battling.On lap 10,Eric moved into 3rd and set his sights on Kinder while Maycock held a 12 car length lead.After a couple of yellow flags,Lap 19 would prove a turning point of the feature,as Maycock set the pace,Eric Todd had moved into 2nd place and started his drive to the lead.Maycock was strong down low and out of turn 2 while Todd was strong going into turn 3.A final yellow waved on lap 22 setting up the final lap shootout.On the restart,Todd made the charge up high as Maycock keep it on the line.Action behind the lead duo would see Kinder,Steve Lawrence,Joe todd and Kenny Potter battling for position.On the final lap,Todd tried a different line going into 1,as Maycock kept his fine line.Heading into turn 3,Todd closed it to 2 cars,but Maycock kept it straight in collecting the win followed closely by Todd.Kinder,Joe Todd, and Kenny Potter as front running Lawrence spun on the last lap.
The FactoryStock feature proved to be the best feature of the night.After 2 restarts,the field were restarted single file with Mike Hailman leading the pack followed by Robbie Bryant,Tim Brown and Donnie Miller.On the start,Hailman led the pack with Brown waiting back in the wings.The action picked-up on lap 6 as Bryant and Brown ran side-by-side for second place while Hailman started to pull away.Lap 9 would prove the action as brown pulled to the top groove and pulled along side of leader Hailman.The duo ran 5 laps door to door as Bryant and Todd Cook were doing the same in the close battle for 3rd.A yellow on lap13 would see Hailman nipping Brown at the line and restarted in the lead.Again Brown went to the top while Bryant,and Cook were running both low and high.Lap 18 would see Brown grab the lead going out of turn 2.Going into traffic,Brown shot to the bottom as Hailman made a move to the top to grab the lead.On lap 21,Brown made the power move down the backstretch as Hailman was right on his bumper.With the checkered waving,Brown claimed the win with Hailman,Cook,Bryant and Donnie Miller completing the top 5 as 19 of the 26 starters finished on the lead lap.
The Bomber feature proved excitement and last lap drama as point champion Dale Rodden grabbed the early lead with Robert White close behind followed by Richard Roberts.On lap 5,White lost power ending his night as Rodden kept up front.Rodden had repeated challanges from Roberts as Steve Shaw had found the high groove to his liking and began his charge to the front and Tyler Brown put himself into contention in the top 5.On lap 13,the Yellow waved just as Shaw had moved into second forcing him back to 3rd as Rodden would lead the pack.On the restart,Roberts began his challange looking downstairs several times as Shaw and Brown were battling for 3rd place.Heading for the white flag,Rodden was keeping on the bottom of the track as Roberts had moved upstairs to challange.As the leaders came out of turn 4 heading for the checkered and lapped traffic in front,Rodden moved up the track as Roberts shot to the bottom and Brown looking down lower as Rodden collected with the traffic and crossed the line backwards grabbing the win damaged car and all as Roberts finished second by less than 2 inches as Brown,Shaw, and Shawn Winfrey rounded out the top 5.
Eric Clay would lead all 15 laps of the Mini-stock feature holding off a late race surge by Brad Moad in grabbing the victory followed by Moad,Dave Williams,Bryan Deatherage and Leon Fellers.
Next Sat Night,Midway will present a special Sat event with the Fastrak LateModels running a 25 lap feature and a special 25 lap event along with the Show-me Racin Series drivers.Wined Sprints,FactoryStocks and Bombers will also be competing for Sat Shootout Special Money as gates open at 5 and Racing at 7:30
