WHAT

After enjoying the holiday weekend free of World of Outlaws Stacker 2 ® Late Model ® Series duties, the tour kicks off another three-day, Mid-Atlantic Tour with an event Wednesday and then a double-header Friday and Saturday.

WHERE
On Wednesday, the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2 Late Model Series will blast into Delmar, DE, racing at the famed Delaware International Speedway.

The series will head west, making tracks for Frank Plessinger’s Hagerstown Speedway, where the tour will race the “24th Annual Stanley Schetrompf Memorial 50,” a $5,000-to-win 50-lap event planned for Friday. Saturday, July 9, the Outlaws will participate in the $15,000-to-win, 58-lap “58th Anniversary Classic.”

The World of Outlaws were to be at Hagerstown earlier this year, but rains in April forced the event to be rescheduled for this summer.

ABOUT THE TRACKS
Delaware International is roughly a 1/2 mile of moist clay. A normal oval layout, it has seven degrees of banking in the corners and uses AMB electronic timing. The pit road entrance from the track to the pits is off the third turn with a return route through turn four. The 20-acre pit area is stone with asphalt driveways. The track hosts weekly late model and modified racing and has a capacity of 4,000 people in the grandstand and another 1,000 in the pits. Both the front and rear speedway walls are steel. There are no walls in the corners and there is 150 feet of extra run off space.
