WHAT
The World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series will take this coming week-end off in deference to the “World 100” before a three-day blitz through Illinois and Missouri. The September 16th – 18th events will go a long way in deciding the 2005 World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series Championship. Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach,IL starts the week-end Friday, September 16th followed by I-55 Speedway in Pevely,MO Saturday, September 17th and the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield,IL Sunday, September 18th.
9/16 – Tri-City Speedway: $10,000 To Win “Coldwell Banker/Gundaker-Miller Lite Nationals 50”

9/17 – I-55 Speedway: $10,000 To Win “Pepsi Nationals 50”

9/18 – Illinois State Fairgrounds: $10,000 To Win “14th Annual Turbo Blue Fall Nationals 30”

WHERE

Tri-City Speedway: Just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis,MO in Pontoon Beach,IL. Exit 4 off of I-270, then 0.5 miles south on State Route 203 (ESR).

I-55 Speedway: I-55 to exit 180, then 0.5 miles east to U.S. Route 61/67, then 1.9 miles south to Herky-Hornine road, then 0.8 miles west, then south.

Illinois State Faigrounds: I-55 to exit 100, then west on Sangamon Avenue (WSR).

ABOUT THE TRACKS

Tri-City Speedway is a semi-banked 1/2 mile dirt oval and semi-banked ¼ mile dirt oval. NOTE: WoO Stacker 2 LMS will be racing on the ½ mile. Support divisions on the ¼ mile. For further information phone 636-329-1122 (office) or 618-931-7836 (track).

PREVIOUS WINNERS
Darrell Lanigan of Union,KY copped the inaugural visit of the World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series to Tri-City Speedway. Lanigan visited the YJ Stinger® Victory Lane August 1, 2004. The World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series will be making their first ever appearances at I-55 Raceway and the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

TELEVISION

The SPEED Channel cameras will be in force at I-55 Raceway Saturday, September 17th. The SPEED Channel will tape all the action of the “Pepsi Nationals 50” and air the event Saturday, December 3rd at 3:00p.m. EST.

Only a handful of events remain on the 2005 season for the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series band of travelers. After the triple-header week-end the series will travel to Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City,KY Friday, September 23rd then head to Clarksville Racing Complex Saturday, September 24th. The 2005 season will wind down at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick,GA Wednesday, October 26th before wrapping up Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville,FL.
