World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series Releases Revised 2005 Schedule!

A revised 2005 schedule for the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series has been released by officials of DIRT Motorsports. The revised schedule will see the “Dirty Dozen” race teams welcome all challengers as some of the best drivers in the dirt Late Model business will compete in fierce side by side high-speed action.

Opening the 2005 chase for the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series championship this past February 17th & 19th at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville,FL, an enthusiastic schedule is on the horizon taking the “Dirty Dozen” to 37 of the finest dirt track racing facilities in 21 different states. Purses reaching nearly $1,750,000 are being offered with well over $400,000 in first place money up for grabs.

A three-way tie for the championship points lead between Billy Moyer of Batesville, AR; Don O’Neal of Martinsville,IN and Scott James of Bright,IN after the February V.S.P. events is only a prelude to what is expected to be one of the most competitive seasons in dirt Late Model racing history.

The trek to the championship will begin in earnest April 8th at “The Rock”/Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland,MD followed the next night with a stop at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway in Saluda,VA. Both of the $10,000 to win events will mark first ever appearances of the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series to the racing facilities.

After a two-week break Lernerville Speedway in Sarver,PA hosts the series April 29th before moving to Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown,MD, April 30. The World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series will support the May 6th & 7th event at Kentucky Lakes Motor Speedway in Calvert City,KY as a point paying event then head to the tri-oval of Brush Creek Motorsports Complex in Peebles,OH, May 20th followed the next night by a visit to Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt,IN.

The month of June opens with four events in six days starting at Farley Speedway in Farley,IA, June 1st then to Eagle Raceway in Eagle,NE, June 3rd followed the next night at Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron,SD before ending two nights later, June 6th, at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley,MN.

A nine-race stretch through five states begins June 27th at Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville,NY then heads to Fulton Speedway in Fulton,NY, June 28th. The series then travels to Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport,NJ, June 30th and two days later visits Stateline Speedway near Jamestown,NY, July 2nd. A two-day break for the race teams to regroup will be welcomed before the series fires back up July 6th at Delaware International Speedway in Delmar,DE. Potomac Speedway in Budds Creek,MD will host the WoO July 8th with a return engagement to Hagerstown Speedway set for, July 9th. The nearly three-week run will conclude with stops July 12th at Sharon Speedway in Hartford,OH and July 16th at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth,OH.

After a brief respite the “Dirty Dozen” race teams again will see a long stretch of 12 scheduled events through nine states. The journey begins July 22nd at Memphis Motorsports Park in Memphis,TN followed by Tri-State Speedway in Pocala,OK, July 23. The I-44 Speedway in Lebanon,MO hosts the series July 26th with a huge two-day event at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo,ND on the docket for July 29th & 30th.

Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond,WI hosts the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series for the annual two-day “USA Nationals”, scheduled for August 5th & 6th. The series will then head for the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway in Dubuque,IA, August 9th before heading to the east to wrap up the swing. Lernerville Speedway brings the series back August 12th followed by Lincoln Speedway in New Oxford,PA, August 13th. The long July-August stretch of races will conclude August 15th and August 16th at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon,NY and Rolling Wheels Raceway Park in Elbridge,NY respectively.

The series resumes the championship hunt August 26th at Western Kentucky Speedway in Madisonville,KY and August 27th at Milan Speedway in Milan,TN before heading to Tri-City Speedway in Franklin,PA, September 4. A three-race swing in mid-September find’s the series visiting Tri-City Speedway in Granite City,IL, September 16th followed the next night at I-55 Speedway in Pevely,MO before wrapping up the week-end September 18th at the one-mile Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springield,IL.

The chase for the 2005 World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series championship end’s in October with a two-day event at West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells,WV scheduled for October 7th & 8th and a two-day event October 28th & 29th at Kentucky Lakes Motor Speedway.

The World of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series is brought to the fans across the country by several sponsors and partners, including series sponsors Stacker 2®, Hoosier Racing Tire, Sunoco Race Fuels, VP Racing Fuels, and SPEEDCHANNEL.
