ALLEN, TX (May 27) – World of Outlaws Founder and President Ted Johnson issued the following statement concerning an incident that took place following its May 24th racing event.

"A business relationship that existed between the World of Outlaws and another entity has resulted in some issues that, at this time, remain unresolved. It was our hope the situation would be addressed amiably but, unfortunately, a lawsuit has been filed. Due to the pending legal proceedings, the series is unable to comment on the merits of the case except to say there are two sides to every story and ours will be presented in the appropriate venue. The World of Outlaws is still committed to bringing the world’s best winged sprint car racing to its fans."

The World of Outlaws will sanction $51,600 events at Lebanon Valley Speedway Tuesday, Rolling Wheels Raceway Park Wednesday, Sharon Speedway Friday and Eldora Speedway Saturday.
