DODGE CITY, KS (January 29) -- It's Dodge City Raceway Park where the asphalt is coming off, the dirt's going on and Brownfield Promotions, Inc., will bring the O'Reilly World of Outlaws Series’ fire-breathing, mudslinging sprint cars to the 3/8-mile oval June 22nd. It will be the Outlaws’ only appearance in Kansas in 2004.

Under the new management of Mike Mathis, the current asphalt surface will be removed and replaced with one of clay. This will provide Kansas dirt track fans with the fastest most exciting racing available, the biggest being the O'Reilly World of Outlaws Series June appearance.

"We are excited to have the beautiful Dodge City Raceway Park facility available for presenting the World of Outlaws to the great fans of Kansas," Promoter Fred Brownfield said. "This is one of the finest facilities available for presenting the greatest sprint car drivers in the world. We, and our staff, are truly looking forward to bringing the Outlaws to this new venue fro their only Sate of Kansas appearance this year."

Should Mother Nature intervene with the June 22nd date, a rain date of June 23rd has been set.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at 8:00 AM PST on April 1, 2004 and may be purchased by calling 1-800-825-4832 on or after that date. Visa and Master Card are accepted.
