Seaford, Delaware (08/1914) - Austin Hubbard claimed an emotional victory on Friday night in his #11 Trinity Logistics/Mastersbilt by Huey/Cornett Racing Engine Super Late Model with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series at Potomac Speedway.

Austin Hubbard scored his third triumph of the 2014 season on Friday night at Potomac Speedway (Budds Creek, Maryland). The $10,000-to-win, World of Outlaws (WoO) Late Model Series event, marked Hubbard's first victory with the national tour since his 2010 Rookie of the Year season.

A field of thirty-five Super Late Models converged on the 3/8 mile oval, as Hubbard topped Group B of time trials with a 14.905 seconds lap. He later dominated his heat race, earning the pole position for the 50 lap finale via the redraw. In the main event, Hubbard cruised to victory in front of a standing room only crowd. Fending off charges from Darrell Lanigan throughout the race to cross the finish line with more than a one-second advantage over his competitors. Gregg Satterlee finished third, followed by Tim McCreadie and Chub Frank.

"This is a huge deal for us," said Hubbard. "I've always believed we could win these big races. We've got good cars and good people supporting us. I definitely know we can run with these guys and we proved it," he added.

Earlier in the weekend, the team entered the WoO Super Late Model event at their home track of Delaware International Speedway (Delmar, Delaware). The $10,000-to-win, Fulton Bank 50, drew a field of thirty-four entrants. Hubbard timed in second to Tim Fuller in Group A during qualifications, and went on to win his heat race to earn a spot in the evenings redraw.

After starting fourth in the 50 lap feature, Austin advanced a single position to finish third behind race winner, Gregg Satterlee and Darrell Lanigan. Tim Fuller and Ross Robinson rounded out the top five finishers.
