On your heat and feature win tonight @ M.C. We are so happy for you and so proud of you, son. Oh, how I wish I could have been there, you know I would have been if I wouldn't have had to work. I told them at work my body was there but my heart was in M.C. with you. I prayed that you would have fun and be safe and trouble free. Once again I was heard and I am thankful. Dad was happy for you also, he said to tell you Jimmy Johnson won the nascar race.

Marty was definitely "DA MAN" last night!!!!!!
He made the Chevy guys shine with his
"In your face" 1st place finishes that proved
all the Chevy critics (Me included) were wrong....
Way to go Marty...Wes and I were both happy
to have you @ MCS and hope you can make it
back a lot more this season...
And no, there was no howling last night Becca..
Maybe a little whining, but NO howling...
On another note, I'd like to take up a collection
and purchase some "Lap counters" for the MCS
officials (I use that title loosely)...Our sponsor,
the Rams drivers, and the fans were all ripped off
last night...I would like to personally apologise to
the anomymous donor who contributed the additional
$500 prize money for the "25 lap" feature that didn't
happen...

You're lucky....i like some others were just waiting until around lap 15 to start racing....you know..conserving those tires.

All that rubb'n we did at DRR last week and none of that speed of your truck rubbed off on mine..

Bob, I'm sorry they didn't know it was a 25 and not a 15 lap feature. They said Mel went nuts screaming NOOO! when he saw the white flag come out, so we know that he knew it was a 25 lapper (he should have told his scorers & Flagman). They also announced it about 3 times on the PA that the features where 25 laps. I just don't want anyone to thank the only reason I won was because the race was 10 laps short. I was surprised on the restart when I looked up and saw the white waving :eek: ! If we had ran the full 25 laps we and the fans would not have seen a full SPRINT CAR FEATURE ;) . It was raining the lap before the white.

First of congrats to the #52, and second i would like to apoligize to C.J. on the racing incident he and i had, i cost us both some money, and it wouldnt be that bad if the full feature would have been run, becouse C.J. and I were both on a mission after the spin, on one lap we both passed 3 cars. Again on the win Marty, congrats.

Hey Marty,

Most of us that go to MCS every weekend to watch the RAMS race didn't care to really see the Sprint feature. Most of us wanted to watch the RAMS more than the sprints. So, IMHO, it would've been better to see the full 25 laps.
After all, We didn't pay $30 just to watch the sprints.​

Wolf, didn't they throw a white flag prior to the checkered? If you couldn't pass Marty in two laps what makes you think additional time would have made any difference..... LOL..

i was counting the laps. did not see the white flag. just came out of turn 4 and saw the checkered waving. whinning, not, just the facts!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes:
 
Don't get me wrong, you guys got screwed with the lap situation and I think everyone had a right to complain.
 
Look at the brite side to make up for a mistake the track made we get another show on top of the big purse from last week!!!! What more can a guy do after the fact. Way to go Mell for steping up to the plate and making up for a mistake, not all promoters would do that especially for the lowly 4 cyl class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably makes no difference to you Dave, but thats why you get booed and some screwballs take up a collection to put you out..
