XDCS MAKES SEPTEMBER SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENT/XDCS TRIM SPA USA NATIONALS TO AIR ON SPEED CHANNEL THIS THURSDAY NIGHT

MOORESVILLE, NC - Xtreme DirtCar Series officials have announced a schedule adjustment for one of its September dates. The event scheduled for September 12 at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC has been cancelled and replaced with a September 11 event date at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, GA.
The Fayetteville, NC was cancelled due to the lack of cooperation by the management of Fayetteville Motor Speedway. Commitments made in January of this year that were agreed upon between the track and the Xtreme DirtCar Series have been changing from the original discussions with the track ownership.
"We made a verbal agreement with the management of Fayetteville Motor Speedway back in January prior to our schedule being released for Xtreme to lease the facility for a September 12 series event," XDCS President Doug Bland said. "After numerous requests for a written lease agreement and an unexpected escalation in fees associated with the rental of the facility, we are left with no other option but to take the event to another venue."
The management of Lavonia Speedway agreed to host the XDCS within minutes of the Fayetteville cancellation.
"We share the disappointment with the fans in the Fayetteville area because they have packed Fayetteville Motor Speedway during the last two series events there, and their enthusiasm was high for this year's event," Bland said. "Our local event manager Jim Long was assisting the series to assure a successful race."
The fans of Georgia and South Carolina will get a double-dose of the Xtreme DirtCar Series, as Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC will host the series on September 14. Both events will be 50-lap $10,000-to-win races. Details and special announcements concerning the Lavonia XDCS event will be outlined by series officials in the near future.
XDCS TRIM SPA USA NATIONALS TO AIR ON SPEED CHANNEL THURSDAY NIGHT: The Xtreme DirtCar Series Trim Spa USA Nationals from Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI will on SPEED Channel this Thursday night at 11 p.m. ET. The program will also re-air on Friday at 3 p.m. ET.
