MOORESVILLE, NC - Xtreme DirtCar Series officials have announced they will be teaming up with Autobet.US and RSBN.net to bring live webcasts of selected Xtreme DirtCar Series events on the series' web site at www.xtremedirtcars.com. The first event will be broadcast from Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC on April 11.

To listen to the XDCS events fans will need to go to www.xtremedirtcars.com, press the webcast registration button, and fill out the registration form. Once that is completed, fans will need to download the necessary software, and they will then be ready to listen to Xtreme DirtCar Series action free of charge on their computer.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to work with both RSBN and the folks at Autobet to offer this program for our fans across the globe," Xtreme DirtCar Series President Doug Bland said. "Since SPEED Channel has re-aired some of our shows on Fox International, even our friends in Australia will now have the opportunity to follow every lap of each feature event we broadcast during the season."

Autobet.US will sponsor the XDCS webcasts. Autobet.US is one of the world's leading online motorsports gaming companies, and the only company that offers paramutual motorsports wagering for NASCAR, Formula 1, IRL, and CART. Paramutual wagering is similar to wagering on horse racing where odds are placed not only to win a specific race, but also to finish second or third.
Autobet.US will also offer trifectas, quinillas, and superfectas.

"Autobet has stepped up to the plate and made all of this possible," Bland said. "They saw how passionate our fans are for the sport, and figured this would be a great way to introduce their services directly to our fan base."

"We're happy to be involved with the Xtreme DirtCar Series and look forward to introducing our service to dirt late model fans around the world," Autobet.US General Manager Rich Rosenthal said. "We've worked with Doug Bland with previous projects, and we know he is going to bring some exciting new ideas to the sport."

RSBN is the Raceinet Sports Broadcast Network, and they will be the host server for the Xtreme DirtCar Series webcasts. RSBN features motorsports programming and also broadcast the Chili Bowl Nationals Midget race from Tulsa, OK in January.

"RSBN is the world leader in Internet motorsports broadcasting, and we look forward to working with the Xtreme DirtCar Series in 2003," RSBN President Michael Thompson said. "Doug Bland and the Xtreme DirtCar Series crew are great people to work with, and we look forward to exciting dirt late model racing action on RSBN.net."

XDCS officials hope to announce future webcast events in the near future, as the technical aspects of the project are put into place at XDCS venues.

"As with anything new and innovative, we will need to make sure everything is working properly at our first webcast at Carolina Speedway on April 11," Xtreme DirtCar Series Communications Director Roby Helm said. "It is our hope that all of our venues will be able to install the proper phone lines to make this happen at all of our 2003 events."

The registration form and the webcasts schedule will be posted soon on the XDCS web site at www.xtremedirtcars.com.
