"Xtreme is going to be announcing its "Weekly Racing Series" that will give drivers that only compete at one (Home) track the opportunity to participate in a local (points fund) a regional (points fund) and a national (points fund). "

This is an exerpt from a post on 4m titled Letter from EXTREME on tires. If this is the case, UMP may see it's stronghold on midwestern tracks begin to slip. Again, the variable is the tires. Will the Goodyears (if they are installed as the official tire) be able to withstand the beating a Late Model can deliver?

Some very interesting reading- lots of views from bith sides of the argument. I found the following quote very interesting: "Hoosier basically told us to fly a kite..." when asked to make 3-4 compuonds the series could use. Be sure to read the post so that the quote is not taken out of context.

I wonder if any of the local tracks have been contacted? ;)

if read also also birky tried the goodyear andthey blistered bad .hey Doug I heard that KENNY and co are bringing back the econo late models would that make you feel any better lol:D

I have always felt that the Econo LM's were the best idea UMP ever had. Right now, most of the drivers who would benefit from having an Econo class are already deeply involved in the modified class.

BTW, what are your information sources?
