You do not have to be a RAMS member to race a Mini Stock

Duckdog

I have to agree with you on almost all of your post. The RAMS has looked like a bunch of clowns on here. Im sorry to say i may have contributed to that. But, when i know i have a valid point i feel the need to express it. Maybe i should just keep my lips zipped ! This senceless bickering has got to stop !!!! WHEN the new President gets in , things will be different. There will be open discussion. With everyones perscpectives encourgaed, even if all dont agree with someones point, to them it is valid ! There are some things in the by laws that need update, as you can see. Because that is why there has been some of this arguing going on. Im sorry you feel the way you do but i understand. I encourage anyone looking to race that they check into the ministocks. It is a very fun class to be in ! Please dont count the organization out just yet... maybe with fresh leadership w can pull this off..... LD

To everyone who is thinking about building or racing in the Mini Stock division. You do not have to be a member of the RAMS to race your car. It is nothing more than a point series. If your not planning on racing every week it is a waste of money. You will still be paid for your placement at the track and still get your points at the track your racing. The RAMS point series has become a circus with a lot of clowns. Do not let the circus determine whether you get a Mini Stock or not, just don't join. They have been doing this at Doe Run for awhile and have many racers in the division. Now the RAMS will argue that if your a member you have a say in what goes on. Don't believe it. If you have a new idea most likely it will be swept under the rug and you will be trounced on by the other members. Do not get caught up in what goes on in this forum. Get a car, come to Montgomery City and let's have some fun. There are some great people in the Mini Stock division.
now duckdog don't you like me anymore:):):):)
you have a point you don't have to be rams to race at MCS the rock or DDR
yes dog the last year has been a roller coaster but that happens in any "organized group" I still like my $160 for 10th place in the rams so it's not all bad
yes this forum has become a circus use to be a place you could mention a ideal but lately it's a cut throat forum (election heat maybe?)

Ron I am right there with ya! That is the very reason I am stepping down off the ballot for vice pres! I am tired of all the bickering and dont want my name seen as part of it all! I will just use my energy to build up the ministock class for MCS!!!!
