Macon, IL – Once again race fans will be treated to another great night of racing this Saturday with the running of the Illinois State Street Stock Championships. Many street stock teams have had this date circled on their racing schedule and look forward to compete against the best teams in the state of Illinois. The Barbeck Modifieds, Hogan Grain / Kubota Sportsman and Hornet divisions will join the Street Stocks in their championship showdown. Macon Speedway would like to congratulate Mike Hammerle of St. Charles, MO on winning the 2007 Chevrolet Late Model Points Title.
This Saturday one lucky Macon Speedway patron will drive off in a new Chevrolet Tahoe courtesy of Chevrolet. The summer long promotion has produced 60 final round entrants with one person claiming the grand prize in Tony Stewards Big Tahoe Giveaway. Pit Gates open Saturday at 4pm with the Main Grandstand opening at 5pm. Admission prices for this weeks racing are $10 for Adults with Kids under 12 free when accompanied by an Adult. Macon Speedway would like to thank The Cadbury Bottling Group for supporting this Saturday’s racing card.

Saturday September 15th: It all comes down to the final night as Macon Speedway closes out their 2007 season with the World Hornet Championship sponsored by Bennigan’s.
