View Full Version : IL Street Stock & Hornet World Championships Unite for Thriller This Saturday at Macon Speedway

Macon, IL – With the cancellation of the IL Street Stock Championships last Saturday due to rain, race officials have pushed the event to this Saturday. The stage is now set for one unprecedented night of racing with the running of the Illinois Street Stock Championships (paying $500 to win and $75 to start feature) and the Hornet World Championships (paying $500 to win). Macon Speedway fans can now take advantage of this situation watching two huge shows for just one price!

The excitement is not just limited to the racing this Saturday at Macon Speedway as two different winners will be selected from summer long promotional contests. Tony’s Big Tahoe Giveaway will conclude with a winner from the pool of 60 final round contestants vying to take ownership of the stylish Tahoe sponsored by Chevrolet. Vlogcafe.com will announce the winner from their $10,000 sweepstakes. Many hopeful final round contestants will be anxiously awaiting the intermission drawing.

Admission for this Saturday is set at $10 for adults, children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Pit gates open at 4pm, grandstand gates open at 5pm and racing starts at 7pm. The Barbeck Modifieds will be qualifying for the $600 to win feature victory. The Hogan Grain / Kubota Sportsman will also join the Street Stocks and Hornets to provide an exciting night of racing.
