Macon Speedway Patron All Smiles After Winning Chevrolet Tahoe

Macon, IL – Decatur’s Steven Kyte describes himself as a person who’s not usually lucky when it come to raffles or games of chance. After this past Saturday Steven may re-think his perceived “bad luck” when it comes to winning blind draws. Steven was one of sixty lucky final round contestants from the summer long promotion that awarded one Macon Speedway Patron a new Chevrolet Tahoe. “I was nervous as each person tried their key to open the box that contained the keys to the Tahoe. I was about 20th in line and as each person tried and failed to open the box I thought I just may have a shot. When I put my key in and the lock snapped open, I just couldn’t believe that I won such a nice vehicle. What made this night extra special was the fact that I won the Tahoe on my son and brother’s birthday”, Kyte said from his home on Tuesday. “I’ve had some people call wanting to know if I was interested in selling my new Tahoe but I tell each of them no way, I’m keeping it”

The Chevrolet Tahoe drawing came as the Macon Speedway closed out their successful 2007 race season. Thousands of race fans entered the sweepstakes but Steven’s new found luck will have him touring the streets of Decatur in his new Chevrolet Tahoe.
