need help to clarify rules

I'm going to be racing a B mod at Montgomery County next year and was told that I need a UMP license, I was also told that I do not need one. What do I need? Please help..

You don't need a UMP license to race modifieds that are sanctioned by UMP. Since UMP does not sanction B mods you for sure don't need a license to race B mods.

You DO NOT need a UMP license to race in UMP events!!!

You do not need a license to run UMP but you need one to aquire the points for State and National points.

You do not need UMP registration to race B-Mods at MSC. Like was said its only for LMs and A-mods to get UMP points you can still race those classes and get track points and paid from MCS you just wont be recognized on the national ump points sheet
