Mark Burgtorf, Gary Wilson, Vance Wilson and Michael Larson all picked up feature event wins Sunday night at Quincy Raceways during Terrible’s Mark Twain Casino Night at the Races.

Mike Karhoff took the lead of the Budweiser IMCA Late Model feature event at the drop of the green flag followed closely by Dustin Neese in second for the first four circuits until Terry Schlipman blasted past Neese for the second spot. Schlipman then challenged Karhoff for the lead until sneaking by to take over the top spot on the 12th lap. Schlipman maintained the top spot for the next two laps until Mark Burgtorf got by to take the lead after starting outside of row five. Burgtorf then pulled away from the field with Schlipman following in the second spot until the checkered flag fell. Lonnie Bailey scored third with Neese in fourth and Kevin Tomlinson in fifth. Mike Dyche and Neese were the heat race winners with Justin Reed grabbing the hardware in the Summy Tire and Auto Center Trophy Dash.

Gary Wilson put on the show in the Miller Lite A-Modified feature event as he picked up his first win of the season by leading all 20 laps of the main event. Wilson held off the challenges of Michael Long and Henry Delonjay to take the checkered flag followed by Delonjay in second, Long in third, Brandon Lennox in fourth and David Holder in fifth. Delonjay and Ted Allen were the heat race winners with Dave Weitholder taking home the win in the P&S Auto and Truck Collision Repair Trophy Dash.

The B-Modified feature event was victim of several caution periods but it did not diminish the battle that Vance Wilson and Tony Dunker put on for the lead. Wilson and Dunker battled side by side and nose to tail for the final sixteen laps with both taking turns being scored in the lead. Wilson finally slipped by Dunker to take the lead for the final time on the seventeenth lap and held on to take his first win in his first appearance at Quincy this season. Wilson won in Wes Mayfield’s #21 with Dunker following in second. Jeff Waterman claimed third with Joe Bliven in fourth and Robbie Reed in fifth. Terry Houston and Bliven were the heat race winners.

James Lain took the lead of the Bomber feature event on the first lap and held of all challengers until Michael Larson slipped by to take over the top spot on the fourteenth lap. Larsen then held Eddie Dieker at bay over the final laps to take the hard fought victory, his second of the year. Dieker settled for second with Lain in third, Steve Carlin in fourth and Adam Birck in fifth. Larsen, Todd Reichert and Dieker were the heat race winners.
