Pontoon Beach, IL (October 13, 2007) Tri-City Speedway hosted the 2nd Annual Crate American Racing Series (CARS) Fall Nationals on Saturday, October 13th and a stellar field of 52 crate late models signed in to compete for coveted title. Mark Oller of Highland, Illinois put on a dominating performance as he swept the entire night's activities and picked up $3,700 in the process. Oller started the night off by setting fast time, then won his qualifying heat race, the dash and led all forty laps of the main event to earn the victory. In the main event, Oller was able to keep a comfortable margin through out over the second place, which saw several drivers battling for that spot. Danny Haynes came from the eighth starting position and battled with Bobby Dauderman for the last half of the main event, as the two swapped positions back and forth. Haynes would use lapped traffic to separate himself from Dauderman and claim the second spot. Dauderman would take the third spot. Mike Collins crossed the in the fourth position after battling for the second spot earlier on. Steve Cole rounded out the top five. The Crate American Racing Series Rookie of the Year for 2007, Josh Harris, claimed an eighth place finish after starting twenty-fourth in the main event.
Tommie Seets, Jr. led all twenty-laps of the modified main event as he topped a competitive field of forty-five modifieds that were on hand. Marty Smith, Jr. kept the pressure on Seets, but couldn't find a way to pull along side and challenge Seets for the win. J.D. Rottler crossed the line in third with John Stanton finishing fourth and Chris Smith fifth.

The Sportsman division made their only visit of the 2007 season at Tri-City Speedway and the two time UMP Sportsman National Champion Troy Naeger dominated the event as he led every lap of the feature to earn the victory. Robbie Eilers took the second spot with Dustin Knerrer taking third. Justin Durbon took the fourth spot and Kent Nations completed the top five.

M.J. Wheat made his first visit of the 2007 racing season to Tri-City Speedway and claimed the win in the Street Stock division. With the open competition rules, Wheat had a huge sideboard on the left side of the car to help the car through the turns. He held off Danny Ems who took second. Josh Jackson finished in the third spot with Gene Crain finishing fourth and Jimmy Glover completed the top five.
