(Warrensburg, MO) Representatives from Central Missouri Speedway will be on hand this Saturday and Sunday, January 29/30 at the annual Bodeeā€™s Racers Auction & Trade Show in Sedalia, Missouri. The event takes place at the Mathewson Center on the Missouri State Fairgrounds with doors opening each day at 8 a.m. CMS is proud to be one of the many racing-related businesses scheduled to be on hand to greet drivers, fans, and race enthusiasts. The auction has grown into the unofficial kickoff to the race season for many attendees and also serves as a great way to break out of the winter doldrums and see old friends and members of the racing family. Car class rules, general track rules, schedules, RACEceiver orders, and driver registration forms will all be readily available for visitors to the trackā€™s booth and track personnel will be present to answer questions and concerns regarding the 2011 season. RACEceivers will be mandatory in all classes in 2011.

Speaking of the coming race season, eighteen-year promoters Earl and Susan Walls and the CMS staff have put together the most exciting schedule in the trackā€™s storied history with no less than 26 nights of racing planned! Tradition holds true for the ā€˜Home of the Mighty Modifiedsā€™ with the three annual big-money summer races during the Memorial Day ($3,000-to-win), Independence Day ($5,000-to-win/$1,000-to-start), and Labor Day ($3,000-to-win) weekends. The season will conclude on Saturday, October 1st with the first-annual $3,500-to-win CMS Modified Nationals and Pit-Side Hog Roast plus a $500-to-win Street Stock special.

The United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) will make its first-ever appearance at the track on Saturday, April 16. Fans have longed for this race and CMS and USMTS are looking forward to providing a topnotch night of racing for everyone in attendance. Also during the summer holiday special events, ULMA Late Models, Street Stocks, and B-Modifieds will each have their annual $1,500-to-win races. Weekly racing gets rolling on Saturday, April 23, one week earlier than in years past. CMS is known for its fast, fair, and fun competition in a fan-friendly and family environment with guaranteed cash payout purses and a smooth-running program. Once again racing will start at 7:30 each race night with the program generally wrapping up in the 10 oā€™clock hour.

There will be no off-season meeting this year as rules for the Modified, Street Stock, and B-Modified divisions have not changed since last year. The ULMA late model rules for 2011 have been updated and are available on the CMS website, along with all car class and track general rules, and schedule information at www.centralmissourispeedway.net. Driver registration for the 2011 season is $60 for all classes. Registration forms are available on the website and may be mailed in along with payment to the address listed on the site. The top ten drivers from the final 2010 standings in each division will automatically keep their car numbers if they choose; all other number requests are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. On the website, choose the Driverā€™s Registration link under the Drivers heading for more information and to reserve car numbers.

Season passes are being offered to fans, the passes include ALL 26 races on the event schedule. Prices for adult passes is $300 with Senior Citizen (age 65 and up) season passes going for $250, passes will be available for advance purchase until April 1, 2011. To join the CMS email group for news and information, send requests to TrackReport@centralmissourispeedway.net. To inquire about season passes or business partnerships contact Susan Walls at (816) 229-1338. We hope to see you at the auction this weekend!
