CHILLICOTHE, OHIO-Jeff and Vicki Schrader have announced the format for the upcoming Spring “Test-n-Tune” Day April 2, 2011. The practice day will kick off what looks to be the biggest season ever for the Schrader family as the local speedway recently booked one of racing’s ‘Crown Jewell’ events in the Dirt Track World Championship (DTWC).
This event is the cornerstone of what looks to be a prosperous 2011 racing season. The complete 2011 schedule will be announced soon.
Test and Tune” day has been set for April 2. Gates will open at 11 a.m. with practice from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The only cost is for participants who take to the track at a cost of $25 per entry. All other admission is free and the pit concessions stand will be open with refreshments. All fans are invited to come out and watch. Fuel will be available at the track for the drivers.

Saturday, April 9 will be opening night for AMRA (American Motor Racing Association) Late Models, the AMRA Road Warrior Modified Challenge, and Hobby Stocks. 410 Sprints will highlight the program on April 16. The popular ‘new kid’ of big name races, “The Classic” for super Late Models will be on the race card Saturday, April 30th. The Freedom 40 for 410 sprints is set for Veterans Appreciation Night on May 28. The DTWC will come to town for three big days October 13-14-15 under the Lucas Oil banner.
K-C will run Race-ceivers in the 2011 race season. Race-ceivers for drivers in the Chillicothe area can be purchased at a discount from O’Reilly Auto Parts, 201 North Bridge Street, Chillicothe, OH 45601; Phone: (740) 773-4203 or 740-773-4200. Drivers should ask for Jamie.
