WHAT
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series kicks off its 34th season expecting another exciting year of wheel-to-wheel, high-speed action with the 40th Annual Florida DIRTcar Nationals by University of Northwestern Ohio on Feb. 11-12-13 at Volusia Speedway Park. Three full nights of racing begin the battle for the 2011 series championship. Can Jason Meyers make it back-to-back titles? Will the Tony Stewart Racing tandem of Donny Schatz and Steve Kinser reclaim the title for one NASCAR’s most colorful drivers? Dirt racing daredevils from around the country will take to the high-speed half-mile oval test their skills and courage against the best in the business.

WHEN
On Friday, Feb. 11, at Volusia Speedway Park the pit gates will open at 1 p.m., with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are set for 6 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

On Saturday, Feb. 12, at Volusia Speedway Park the pit gates will open at 1 p.m., with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are set for 6 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

On Sunday, Feb. 13, at Volusia Speedway Park the pit gates will open at 1 p.m., with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are set for 6 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.

WHERE

Volusia Speedway Park is on State Road 40 in Barberville, Fla. From Interstate 95, take Exit 268 about 15 miles west on State Road 40. From Highway 17, take State Road 40 and travel 5 miles east of Barberville.

TICKETS
Reserved seats on all three nights are $39 and can be purchased online by clicking the “Buy Tickets” button at http://www.DIRTcarNationals.com or by calling Volusia Speedway Park at 386-985-4402. Children aged 10 and younger are free in general admission seating.

A Super Value Package that includes tickets for all five nights of Sprint Car racing,  including two events for the All Star Circuit of Champions (Feb. 3-4) followed by three nights of racing for the World of Outlaws (Feb. 5-7), are available for $165.

Volusia Speedway Park is a semi-banked half-mile oval. The track record of 12.948 seconds was established by Jason Solwold on Feb. 6, 2007.
