Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Announces Sponsors and Special Award Programs For 2011

Lucas Oil Late Model SeriesWAYCROSS, GA (February 7, 2011) – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is excited to announce the many special awards programs, numerous contingency sponsors, and awards for racers that attend series events in 2011. Not only will racers compete for the series points fund paying $75,000 to the winner, but numerous cash and product awards at each event. The series is proud to announce several new sponsors have come on board for 2011, giving racers additional monies and product awards to compete for.

DART Machinery will award a product award to each feature winner and will sponsor the DART Winternationals Presented by Magnaflow point’s fund that will pay racers cash and products for the special speedweeks points fund put together by the series for drivers that participate in the events at East Bay Raceway Park. The DART Winternationals Presented by Magnaflow Champion will receive $5,000 in cash. In addition DART has stepped up and added an additional starting spot in each feature throughout the week, bringing the total number of starting spots each nights feature to twenty-six. The DART Fast Pass provisional will be given each night to the fastest qualifier that did not earn a starting position in the feature.

Magnaflow Performance Exhaust will sponsor the Winternationals Strawberry Dash each night giving the winner of the dash the final starting position for the feature event each night of the DART Winternationals. This driver will start 26th each night in the feature event.

Sunoco Race Fuels will once again be the Official Fuel of the LOLMDS and title sponsor of the “Sunoco Race for Gas” competition along with the Sunoco Road to Wheatland program. The driver using Sunoco Race Fuels and earns the most Sunoco Race For Gas points during the season will be awarded a $3,000 cash award to first place and a $1,000 cash award to the runner-up in the year long points category. If a Sunoco driver maintains perfect attendance through the Show-Me 100 in May and wins the Show-Me 100, that driver will receive a special Sunoco Race Fuels $3,000 cash award.

OHLINS Shocks will be the official sponsor of the OHLINS Shocks Chassis Builders Challenge for 2011. Participating chassis builders will earn points at every series race and the chassis builder that earns the most points will be crowned the top chassis builder of the series at the year end banquet and receive a $2,000 cash award and special product award from OHLINS Shocks.

COMP Cams will give a special $50 cash award to every feature winner on the series in 2011 and again be the title sponsor of the COMP Cams Engine Builders Challenge for the series in 2011. Engine builders that sign up for the challenge will earn points at every series event and a COMP Cams Engine Builder of the Year will be awarded at the series year end banquet. The top engine builder will receive a $2,500 cash award and a special product award from COMP Cams.

Quarter Master will sponsor the “Quarter Master Rookie of the Year” program on the series for 2011. The rookie of the year program for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series continues to get bigger every year for racers who elect to run for the “Quarter Master Rookie of the Year” program. This year’s program will pay $10,000 cash to the winner of the Rookie of the Year, with the runner up receiving $5,000 cash from SWEET MFG as the associate sponsor of the rookie of the year program. Numerous other product awards will be awarded to the top rookies at the year end banquet as well.

PBM/Erson Cams has signed on as the title sponsor of the PBM/Erson Cams Hard Charger Award. PBM/Erson Cams will award the driver at every event that advances the most positions in the feature event a product award. The driver that earns the most PBM/Erson Cams Hard Charger points throughout the year will be awarded the PBM/Erson Cams Hard Charger of the Year award at the series year end banquet and receive a special product award from PBM/Erson Cams.

K&N Filters will be the title sponsor of the K&N Clean Pass award and will award one driver at each event a $250 cash award for making the cleanest and most impressive pass during each event.

E3 Spark Plugs will sponsor the E3 TV Challenge in 2011 awarding points to drivers only at the TV events. The driver that earns the most TV points will receive a $2500 cash award at the series banquet. $1500 will be awarded to the second place driver in E3 TV points as well.

Janowski Insurance has come on board as the official insurance agent for the LOLMDS in 2011. As part of their sponsorship Janowski Insurance will award a $1,000 cash award to the driver that wins the most feature events on the series in 2011.

RED BUCK Cigars will again sponsor the Fast Time award giving a $100 cash award at every event to the driver that sets fast time. The driver that earns the most RED BUCK Fast time awards will receive a $500 cash award at the year end banquet.

Dominator Race Products will sponsor the Dominator Hard Luck Award. The driver that suffers the worst luck at each event will receive a special product award from dominator Race Products.

DirtonDirt.com will again be the title sponsor of the “DirtonDirt.com Crew Chief of the Race and the Year” award. Top crew chief of each race will receive a $50 cash award. A special “Dirt on Dirt Crew Chief of the Year” award will be presented at the series year-end banquet and receive a special $500 cash award.

Wiles Drive Shafts will be the title sponsor of the “Wiles Drive Shafts Heat Race Winners” point’s category and award the driver that wins the most heat races a special cash award at the year-end awards banquet. Wiles Drive Shafts will be the title sponsor of Heat Race #1 and Heat Race #2 and award a product certificate to the winner of heat race #1 at every series events.

SWEET MFG will sponsor Heat Race #3 and award a special product award to the winner of Heat Race #3. SWEET MGF is also the associate sponsor of the Rookie of the Year program giving a special cash and product award to the rookie of the year program.

HAWK Brake will be the title sponsor of Heat Race #4 and award the winner a special product award.

JRI Suspensions and Wrisco Aluminum will be the title sponsors of B-Main #1 and Wrisco with B-Main #2. JRI Suspensions will award the winner of B-Main #1 a special product award and a special product award to the rookie of the year program.

Keyser MFG will award a special product award to the 10th place finisher in each feature

event along with a special Integra Shocks product award to the rookie of the year program.

Performance Bodies will give a special product award, one MD3 nose and graphics to every feature winner on the series in 2011.

ASi Racewear will give a special designed custom race suit to the top Sunoco driver that earns the most points in the Sunoco Road to Wheatland program. ASi Racewear will also award a special custom driving suit at the year end banquet to the driver that earns the most ASI Racewear points.
