Springfield Raceway Releases Exciting 2011 Schedule For The Ozarks Quick-Quarter

Springfield RacewaySpringfield,Mo.-SpringfieldRaceway Owners Jerry Hoffman and Doug Bland have released yet another action-packed 2011 Season Schedule with something for everyone at the high-banked Quick-Quarter mile dirt oval.

For 2011 Springfield’s Transport Graphics has joined as the title sponsor in the quest for the 2011 Championship Chase.

Weekly event classes include the High-power of the A-mods(USRA Rules)-Reliable Chevrolet SportMods(B-Mods) StreetStocks,the exciting Midwest Modifieds,Legends and Purestocks.2010 tracks champions were Webb City’s Mitch Keeter(A-Mods),Springfield’s Wayne Graybeal(SportMods),Ava’s Jack Hamer(Wheeler Metals StreetStocks),Webb City’s Kaleb Copher(Midwest Mods),Joplin’s Justin Comer(Legends).The Purestocks did not compete for points but will go at it in 2011.

The 2011 season will get underway with the Transport Graphics Chase for the championship will get underway on Sat April 16 with Military Night as any current or past Military personnel recieving free grandstand admission with ID.April 23 the points chase rolls forward with all 6 classes along with Emergency Personel Apperciation night as all Firefighters,EMS and police are admitted free in the Grandstand with proper ID.April 30th will see a different type of speed as not only will the Tansport Graphice chase continue,but the 1st annual Ozarks Fastest Man at the Speedway Footrace will get underway with the winner recieving $100.There will be a $1 entry fee and you must be 16 or older to compete.May 7 will keep the points battles in check with weekly racing.

The first special of the season will be Sat May 14th as the Traveling SuperLateModels of the MARS and MLRA Series do battle for the John Knutz/Andy’s Frozen Custard Memorial along with points racing in support classes.

May 21st along with the points battles,the battle of the Law Enforcement go to compete in the battle of the badges as Law Enforcement Officers compete with each other in Crown Vics as they race to raise money for Special Olympics.

No racing on May 28th as the Show-Me 100 takes place in Wheatland,Mo at the Lucas Oil Speedway.

The Chase continues in high gear on Sat April 4th with O’Reilly Autoparts night at the races.

June 11th a different type of open-wheeled excitement hits the Quick-Quarter as the ASCS2 along with the Power I Midgets go to battle along with Mini-Sprints and support classes on Pepsi Night at the races.

June 18th the Kids get a chance to race with their Bicycles on the high-banked oval along with the Transport Graphice Chase for the Championship.

June 25th will be Scout Night at the races as all Cub Scout,Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts recieve Free Admission if in uniform.

July 2nd WingedSprint Car Racing returns to Springfield as the ASCS Sooner Regional Drivers battle the ASCS Warrior Regional drivers as the 360 Winged SprintCars fly around the quarter-mile oval along with support classes.

July 9th the Battle of the Badges return as Law Enforcement personnel compete as they race to help raise money for Autism.

No Racing on July 16th as the Diamond Nationals is being held at Lucas Oil Speedway.

July 23rd Action kicks again in high-gear as the Transport Graphics Championship chase gets into high swing with Reliable Chevrolet Night as the SportMods compete not only for track points but also $400 to win.

July 30th the weekly action continues and on Sat Aug 6th will be back to school night as kids 12 and under get in Free and will recieve a special back to school pack.

Aug 13th the SportMods get a well deserved night off as the stretch drive in the chase continues along with Spectator Drags

Aug 20th and 27th the points battles continue with all classes preparing for the season championship upcoming night.

Sept 3rd the 2011 Champions will be decided as the Speedway holds its Transport Graphice Season Championship Night.

No Racing on Sept 10th as the IMCA SuperNationals will be held in Boone,Iowa

Sept 17th the Lightning fast Traveling SuperLateModels of the MARS and MLRA Series roll into town to claim the Larry Phillips Memorial Title honoring the Springfield Legend Short-track driver.

Tuesday October 4th will be Autism night at the races with more details TBA

Sat October 15th the high paying popualr Octoberfast will go to battle as the final battle of the Badges takes place as the Law Enforcement Personnel help raise money for One Missing Link

Sat October 29th The first annual Booger Man Trick or Treat for Breast Cancer will be held with more details TBA.

November 26th will find the 5th annual Bad Boy Mowers Turkey classic with LateModels,A-Mods,SportMods and Legends battling for the special trophy and prize money.
