NASRABerea, KY- March 7, 2011- Despite rumors that have surfaced during the off-season, the National All Star Racing Association (NASRA) will be in business for the 2011 racing season and will sanction Dirt Late Model racing action.

A new management group will in charge of the NASRA series in 2011, as series founder C.J. Rayburn will step back from the tour to focus more on his chassis construction business at C.J. Rayburn Race Cars, along with a new race parts and accessories division as well.

The new management team will be known as NASRA Group LLC and will be headed by new series race director Jeff Evans, who has served as a series official with the NASRA tour during the 2010 race campaigns.  Also working for the new management group will be Lisa Buckman, who will serve as the series treasurer and operations manager.  Buckman has also worked previously with NASRA, having handled the tour’s clerical duties.  Also, working as consultants to the group will be former series director Frank Revel and former Battle of the Bluegrass race director Spencer Wilson.

The group already has race events booked at Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY, Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH, and at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN and will be announcing their complete 2011 race schedule in the upcoming weeks.

For more information regarding the National All Star Racing Association, visit the series website at www.nasra.com, as the webpage will be updated in the very near future with all plans and the 2011 race schedule.
