Batesville, Arkansas (03/15/11) –Billy Moyer Jr. piloted his #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Bullock Racing Engine Super Late Model to his second win of the 2011 season on Saturday as he claimed the $3,000 payday in the 2nd Annual Ice Breaker at Tennessee National Raceway.

After seeing a win get away from him in 2010 at Tennessee National Raceway (Hohenwald, Tennessee) after a motor failure late in the race stole the lead, Billy Moyer Jr. returned to the facility on Saturday with a strong motivation to claim a win in the 2nd Annual Ice Breaker. With 26 cars on hand for the $3,000 to win, Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) event Billy started the night well by setting fast time in his group and second fast time overall to earn the outside front row starting spot for the 40 lap feature.

As the event went green Moyer Jr. shot to the lead over fellow front row starter, Eric Hickerson, Chad Winkles, Ray McElhiney, and Josh Putnam. Billy would quickly jump to a ten car length lead before the first caution slowed the event on lap 7. On the restart, Billy would once again motor away from the field and would go on to endure a series of cautions to claim the win, which was his second of the year. He was followed at the line by Eric Hickerson, Chad Winkles, Josh Putnam, and Anthony Burroughs.

This weekend, Jr. Motorsports will carry their momentum into the 1st Annual Cash Cow 100 at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi), which will be sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Super Late Model Series.  The event will see an Open Practice held on Thursday night with Friday night featuring time trials and heat race action, while Saturday night will be headlined by b-main action as well as the $20,000 to win/$1,500 to start, 100 lap finale.  For more information on “The Baddest Bullring in the South” please visit www.ColumbusSpeedway.net and for more information on the World of Outlaws Super Late Models, please visit www.WoOLMS.com .
