Indiana Icebreaker Postponed Until April 9th

Brownstown SpeedwayWAYCROSS, GA, (March 24, 2011) – Officials of Brownstown Speedway and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have postponed the 14th Indiana Icebreaker. The event was originally scheduled to take place this Saturday March 26th, and is now scheduled for Saturday, April 9th.

The decision to postpone the event is due to inclement weather in the area of Brownstown Speedway with continued inclement weather in the forecast through the weekend.

“I’ve always been able to work around the rain at Brownstown,” said Brownstown Speedway Promoter Tim Keithley, “but with all of the weather we are getting and such cold temps forecasted for Saturday night, we made the decision to postpone the event.”

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will be back in action March 31st – April 2nd with its first ever appearance at Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, TX. The event will kick off on Thursday night with an open practice session from 6-9PM. On Friday, there will be Red Buck Cigars Time Trials and Heat Races. On Saturday, the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will take to the track for B-Mains and the $20,000 to win main event.
