WAYCROSS, GA (March 28, 2011) – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will make its first appearance in the state of Texas this Friday and Saturday, April 1^st and 2^nd at the Lonestar Speedway in Kilgore, TX.

Activities at the newly re-designed 3/8ths mile high-banked will get underway with a special practice session on Thursday Night, March 31^st.  On Friday Night, April 1^st the stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will feature Time Trials and Heat Races. On Saturday Night April 2^nd, racing will resume with B-Mains and the $20,000 to win/$1,000 to start feature event will take place.

With the postponement this past weekend of the Indiana Icebreaker until April 9^th, the event at Lonestar Speedway will now mark the first stop after the DART Winternationals on the Sunoco Race Fuels Road to Wheatland in 2011 as 15 drivers with perfect attendance will be eligible for the $700 winners circle money. The Sunoco Race Fuels Road to Wheatland will see competitors make their way across America, heading to the 19^th Annual DART Show-Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO.

The tire rule for this weekend’s visit by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Lonestar Speedway will be as follows; American Racer SD44 or any compound harder, SD44 must punch a minimum of 40, and Hoosier 1300 or any compound harder, 1300 must punch a minimum of 40.
