Cedar Ridge Speedway has just announced they are going to offer any new driver the opportunity get in FREE their first visit to the speedway this year.
Managing partner Richard Ashby said “We feel like there are several cars that have not been down to race at the track under the new ownership and want them to give us a try”. By offering FREE admission this will also give drivers who have never been to the speedway the chance to give it a try!
The only stipulation to the offer is: the car must meet rules for the divisions offered and the driver and car must be NEW to the track for the 2011 race season. Rules can be viewed at www.cedarridgespeedway.com . This offer will remain in effect until further notice.
Cedar Ridge Speedway’s partners and crew are committed to providing a great night of fast, fair racing for the fans and the teams as well as a nice racing surface all at an affordable price.
Also, this Saturday night will be the 1st Spectator race of the 2011 race season. Bring your car out of the parking lot and strap on a helmet and battle it out with others! This event will pay $100 and a trophy to win and $50 for 2nd. NO RACE CARS only street cars please! Also on the race card for the night are the UMP Modifieds, UMP Limited Modifieds, Mini Stock, Pure Stock, Street Stock, Cruiser, Rusty Bolt and Bombers.
Gates will open at 3pm with draw closing at 6:30pm. Qualifying will take the track at 6:45 and racing at approx. 7:15pm cst.
May 21st Cedar Ridge Speedway will host a $500 to win UMP Limited Modified event (must run Cedar Ridge Speedway class rules) plus a regular program featuring UMP Modifieds, Mini Stock, Pure Stock, Street Stock, Cruisers, Rusty Bolt and Bombers.
