Tri-City Speedway presents the Budweiser 50 this Sunday, May 29th paying $10,000 to win for UMP DIRTcar Late Models!

Tri-City SpeedwayPontoon Beach, IL (May 25th, 2011) The Budweiser 50 will be the headline event this Sunday, May 29th at Tri-City Speedway’s traditional Memorial Day Weekend Sunday night special event. The Budweiser 50 will feature UMP DIRTcar Late MOdels battling it out for 50 laps on the fast 3/8 mile dirt oval for the $10,000 top prize.

Some of Nation’s top dirt late model drivers plan to attend this event. A few of the drivers that have indicated they plan to attend include Brian Birkhofer, Jimmy Mars, Shannon Babb, Randy Korte, Brian Shirley, Jason Feger, Don O’Neal, Billy Moyer, Billy Moyer, Jr., Frank Heckenast, Dennis Erb, Jr., Wendell Wallace, Ryan Unzicker, Bub McCool, Mark Burgtorf, Bobby Pierce, Todd Hall, R.J. Conley, Rod Conley, Delmas Conley, Scott James and many more.

Also on the racing card this Sunday will be UMP DIRTcar Modifieds competing for a $1,000 top prize and UMP DIRTcar Pro Late Models racing for $750 to win.

The Pit gates will open at 3pm with pit passes costing $35 for those 13 years old and older and only $10 for those 12 years old or younger. The grandstand gates will open at 5pm and general admission is $25 for those 13 years old and older and general admission is FREE for those 12 years old and younger.

Qualifying will kick off at 7pm with racing starting at approximately 7:30pm.

Tri-City Speedway is located just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO in Pontoon Beach, IL. To get to the track, take exit 4 (Route 203) off of Interstate 270 and head south approximately a half mile to the track.
