Lucas Oil SpeedwayWheatland, MO (June 30th, 2011)- With fireworks lighting the sky, Rylan Long, Eric Turner, and Sundance Keepper provided the fireworks on the track as they all visited the Lucas Oil Speedway Victory Lane on a special Thursday Night Thunder edition of the Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship Series Presented by Nemo Quarry.

In the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, Robby Warner from Quincy, Illinois led the field to the green flag from his pole starting position as he battled early on with Browning, Missouri’s Tommy Cordray on a very slick but extremely racey Lucas Oil Speedway racing surface. As the laps wound down, Rylan Long pulled to the rear bumper of Warner as the pair made slight contact with Long stealing the lead from Warner with only a handful of laps remaining to score his fifth Lucas Oil Speedway feature win of the season. Warner held on for second at the finish with Cordray third. El Dorado Springs, Missouri Veteran Larry Jones finished in fourth after engine trouble sidelined him early the past couple of weeks. Evan Hubert out of Cross Timbers, Missouri came across the AAA Start/Finish Line in fifth.

With Hermitage Lumber in Hermitage, Missouri putting up a special $750 to win Pitt’s Homes A-Modified purse, a strong field of the region’s best A-Mods paid a visit to the Lucas Oil Speedway on Thursday night. Grandview, Missouri’s Austin Siebert and Hermitage, Missouri’s Eric Turner waged a classic battle for the win as Siebert appeared to hold off Turner by only a few car lengths but the Lucas Oil Speedway Tech Officials deemed Siebert light at the scales handing the official win to Turner. A spirited battle raged behind the the leaders with West Plains, Missouri’s Josh Hughes scoring second in the final running order with Iola, Kansas’ Justin “Whitey” Fold taking third. Wheatland’s Mike Striegal had a stellar run in his black #19 “B-Mod” to take home the fourth spot while Emporia, Kansas’ Cody Agler rounded out the Top-5.

In the Carson’s Corner Napa Factory Stocks, ALPS Grocery Stores out of Pittsburg, Missouri provided the funding for a special $500 to win purse with Everton, Missouri’s Sundance Keepper scoring the win and the added money as his “little” motor found the slick racing surface to his liking. James Flood out of Billings, Missouri finished in the second spot with Wheatland’s Chip Shaddox taking third at the finish. Highlandville, Missouri veteran Keith Webster challenged the leaders throughout but settled for fourth at the finish. Rounding out the Top-5 was Frontenac, Kansas’ Mike Bitner in his Ford Mustang.
