Jason Utter of Columbus Junction, IA passed Chris Simpson at the checkers to win the Midwest Tri-Fecta at I80 Speedway. Utter went from ninth to first in his heat race to pick up the pole for the feature event. Utter would take the green flag from the pole but fall to second early. Chris Simpson would lead nearly the entire 30 lap Lucas Cattle Company Feature before getting caught in lap traffic. When the white flag dropped, Utter took advantage of the traffic slowing Simpson, catching him in turn four. Utter would cross the finish line just a nose in front of Simpson.

Heat winners included, Chris Spieker, Al Purkey, John Anderson, Travis Dickes and race winner Jason Utter. B Feature wins went to Al Humphrey and Kurt Kile.
