Rain Pushes Macon Speedway Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals to July 21st

Summit Modified NationalsMACON, Ill. – July 7, 2011 – Mother Nature wasn’t ready for the DIRTcar Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals Thursday evening as storms saturated the racing surface forcing DIRTcar Racing and Track Officials to postpone the nights event.

The Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals will now be run on Thursday, July 21 and will count towards a drivers DIRTcar UMP Modified National Points.  Mike Harrison continues to lead in the Summit Racing Equipment Modified National points to 97 markers over Mckay Wenger of Fairbury, Ill., with Jeff Curl of Forrest, Ill., 122 points behind.

The Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals return to action Friday, July 8, at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway.
