On Saturday July 23rd Lake Ozark Speedway will host the 2nd Annual “Battle of the Badges Race”. This race features law enforcement officers from around the state of Missouri driving late model Ford Crown Victoria’s, providing a “cop car” feel to the race. All funds raised from the “Battle of the Badges” race will go toward supporting Special Olympics year round sports training and competition program for the more than 15,000 Missouri athletes across the state. Also racing on July 23rd will be the Amsoil 360 sprints and the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds racing for $2000 to win in both classes. The Fuzzy’s Bar and Grill Street Stocks have also been added to the night’s action, running for their regular purse. The June 18th make up feature for the Picker’s Junction UMP Modifieds will also be run. Admission for the night is $18 with all Law Enforcement personnel receiving $5 off on one general admission ticket by showing their badge. Not valid on VIP tent or pit passes. General admission gates will open at 5:30pm and pit gates open at 4:30pm. Hotlaps are at 7pm with racing beginning at 7:30pm.
