Pevely, MO (August 6th, 2011) A strong field of 35 UMP DIRTcar Modifieds were on hand for the $1,000 to win special run in conjunction with the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series event. Mark Miner returned to the Modified division with a brand new race car after being off several weeks and proceeded to dominate the night’s action. Miner started on the pole for the main event and took command from the start and led all twenty laps to earn the victory. Scott Weber hounded Steve Maisel for the second spot for much of the first half of the race and finally made the pass and went on to finish in the second spot. Maisel had his best run of the season at I-55 Raceway finishing third. Doug Wood had another strong outing as he came home in the fourth spot. Paul Bauman rounded out the top five.
