Lebanon-I-44-Speedway(LEBANON, Missouri) With the ‘Monster Energy Chase for the Cup’ track points battles close to conclusion in all racing classes, and the ASA National Championship for feature division Late Models as tight as it has been all season, current track and presumed national points leader Chrissy Wallace will be seeking a seventh feature division win this Saturday night, August 27, at Lebanon I-44 Speedway.

Spectator gates are slated to open at 5:00 pm for ‘Fohn Furniture & Lawn Equipment Night, presented by Ariens & Gravely’, with the five-division stock car racing program scheduled to start at 7:30 on the track’s 3/8-mile high banked asphalt oval. Pro National Series ‘Baby Grand’ cars and a special Fan Autograph Session are also on the card during the track’s weekly ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ show.

“Our race fans have such an amazing show to enjoy this Saturday night” said I-44 Speedway promoter Craig Armstrong. “With Chrissy Wallace on the cusp of an ASA National Championship, and incredibly exciting racing on tap in all of our Saturday night classes – including a rare ‘national event’ appearance by the Pro National ‘Baby Grand’ cars – this Saturday’s show has all the drama anyone could ever want. And with our admission prices as low as or lower than any racetrack in America, anyone can afford to come out and enjoy a night of high-energy entertainment at I-44 Speedway!”

Headlined by the fast and powerful ASA feature division Late Model stock cars, Saturday’s ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ show at the only paved oval track in Missouri will also spotlight the Modifieds, which are stock silhouette racecars with open wheel front ends, the Sportsman class stock cars, and a four-cylinder, subcompact class of cars called Chargers. In addition to the virtually non-stop racing action, fans will be invited onto the front stretch during intermission for a special autograph session with the drivers.

Lebanon I-44 Speedway features an alcohol-free, ‘family friendly’ grandstand, along with tier parking for cars, pickup trucks and RV’s where patrons may park, tailgate and view the races. Known by longtime I-44 Speedway fans as the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’, beer may be brought in the tier parking areas, while full food and non-alcoholic beverage concessions are available in both the grandstands and tier parking, along with a Souvenir and track apparel booth located behind the brand-new Central Bank VIP Suite Tower.

Grandstand admission is $10 for Adults, ages 16 and older, while Adult admission in tier parking is $12. Discounted admission for Seniors (ages 65 and older), Military personnel, and Juniors (ages 11-15) is offered in both locations. A grandstand Family Pass for 2 Adults and 2 Juniors plus any number of Kids 10 and younger is available for $25, while six Adults entering in the same vehicle on tier parking will be admitted on the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ for $60. One of the new, climate-controlled luxury VIP Suites is also available to the public for $25 per ticket.

Located just four miles east of the Lebanon city limit on Historic Route 66, Lebanon I-44 Speedway is accessible from anywhere in southern Missouri via Interstate 44. The most direct route for patrons is driving I-44 to Exit 135, which is the Sleeper exit, and then one mile west on Route 66 to the track’s main entrance. Additional information about the track’s 2011 ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ racing schedule, racecar construction rules and other ‘track facts’ may be found of the facility’s official website, www.i44speedway.net.
