Lebanon-I-44-Speedway(LEBANON, Missouri) With the ‘Monster Energy Chase for the Cup’ season championship points battles wrapping up in all racing classes, special twin feature races for a large field of pavement Late Models will highlight the ASA-sanctioned stock car racing show this Saturday night, September 10, at Lebanon I-44 Speedway. Spectator gates are slated to open at 5:00 pm for ‘United Insurors Night at the Races’, with the five-division stock car racing program scheduled to start at 7:30 on the track’s 3/8-mile high banked asphalt oval.

“We have averaged over fifteen pavement Late Models at each of our ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ shows this year, and the intense action on the racetrack has been nothing short of spectacular,” said I-44 Speedway promoter Craig Armstrong. “I can’t think of a more fitting way to finish off this exciting 2012 championship points season than to offer up not just one, but two Late Model feature races for our fans, thanks to the generosity of Lebanon’s Lindsay Auto Group. Coupled with top ten points battles in all of our ASA racing classes, this Saturday night’s show is going to be a ‘barn-burner’!”

Headlined by the fast and powerful ASA feature division pavement Late Models, Saturday’s ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ show at the only operating paved oval track in Missouri will also spotlight the Modifieds, which are stock silhouette racecars with open wheel front ends, the full-bodied Sportsman class stock cars, Road Warriors – big, steel-bodied ‘pure stocks’ – and a four-cylinder, subcompact class of cars called Chargers. In addition to the virtually non-stop racing action, spectators will be introduced to the newly-crowned 2012 season champions in all five ASA racing classes following each feature race.

Lebanon I-44 Speedway offers an alcohol-free, ‘family friendly’ grandstand, along with tier parking for cars, pickup trucks and RV’s where patrons may park, tailgate and view the races. Known by longtime I-44 Speedway fans as the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’, beer may be brought in the tier parking areas, while full food and non-alcoholic beverage concessions are available in both the grandstands and tier parking, along with a Souvenir and track apparel booth located behind the brand-new Central Bank VIP Suite Tower.

Grandstand admission is $10 for Adults, ages 16 and older, while Adult admission in tier parking is $12. Discounted admission for Seniors (ages 65 and older), Military personnel, and Juniors (ages 11-15) is offered in both locations. A grandstand Family Pass for 2 Adults and 2 Juniors plus any number of Kids ages 10 and younger is available for $25, while six Adults entering the tier parking area in the same vehicle will be admitted on the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ for $60.

Located just four miles east of the Lebanon city limit on Historic Route 66, Lebanon I-44 Speedway is accessible from anywhere in southern Missouri via Interstate 44. The most direct route for patrons is I-44 to Exit 135, which is the Sleeper exit, and then one mile west on Route 66 to the track’s main entrance. Additional information about I-44 Speedway’s 2011 ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ racing schedule, racecar construction rules and other ‘track facts’ may be found of the facility’s official website, www.i44speedway.net.
