Columbus, Mississippi (09/24/11) – On Saturday night the finale for the 22nd Annual Premier Ford Magnolia State 100 was held at Columbus Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi). Over 150 cars entered for the weekend, and the best of the best in each division went to battle on Saturday night in their feature events.

In the Super Late Model division, Billy Moyer survived an attrition-filled feature to claim his unprecedented eighth Magnolia State 100 triumph. The win did not come easy though as he received several challenges throughout the feature as well as some close calls in lap traffic. At the checkered flag he would claim the $20,011 win by six car lengths over Bub McCool, Eric Cooley (started 15th), Brian Rickman (started 21st), and Morgan Bagley (started 25th).

In the Crate Late Model division a great race was contested as Jeremy Shaw from Millport, Alabama battled past early leader Chris Ragan on lap nine to take the lead and had to fight off a late race, three-wide battle for the lead with Mike Boland and Justin McRee to claim the $2,500 win. Boland, McRee, Dougie King, and Cliff Williams rounded out the top five at the checkered flag.

The Street Stock feature saw outside front row starter, Wesley Greene pace the feature for the first half of the feature before sixth starting Trey Bright took the lead in the caution-filled event. Bright would go on to claim the $1,000 win over Marvin Beard, Adam Cheeks, Andrew Earnes, and Doug Dodd.

In the Open Wheel Modified feature Billy Collett and Ryan Allday brought the field to the green flag with Collett claiming the lead as the race began. It would be a lead that he would never relinquish as he raced his way to the $2,000 win, which came over Randy King, Jason Markewitz, Noah Daspit, and Ryan Allday.
