Recently crowned 2011 Track Champions Carl Bowser (Ti22 Sprints), Dave Hess Jr. (Lates), Jeremiah Shingledecker (Diehl Mods) and Mike Miller (Pic-A-Part Sportsman) are all expected to take part in the action.

2010 Steel City Stampede feature winners were Dale Blaney (Ti22 Sprints), Jared Miley (Precise Lates), Chad Homan (Diehl Mods), Joe Kelley (Charapp Sportsman/Stock), Brian Ruhlman (UMP Mods), Bryan Force (Pro Lates), Mike Hay (Mod Lites), Brent Sholtis (4 Cyl.) and Glenn Noland (Enduro).

Why: 410 Sprints, Super Late Models and Big Block Modifieds will be racing for $3000-to-win; Sportsman/Stocks, Pro Late Models, UMP Modifieds and Enduros will be racing for $1000-to-win; while the 4 Cylinders and Mod Lites will be racing for $500-to-win.

In addition to the increased payouts, the feature winners will also be crowned as the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede Champions.

And finally, to get one last weekend of racing in before the Action Track goes dark for the season!

Where to Stay: Camping is FREE!  In a change from last year, all camping is first come, first serve and free of charge.  Unfortunately, there are no electric/water hookups available for camping at Lernerville Speedway.

The Days Inn in Butler, PA is the top recommendation for travelers planning to stay at a hotel.  The Days Inn in Butler is located 10 miles from the speedway on Route 8 just south of Butler.  The Days Inn has an indoor pool, on-site restaurant & lounge and is in close proximity to a handful of restaurants including McDonalds, Pizza Hut and Burger King.  Other nearby towns with hotels include (arranged in order of proximity) Butler, Kittanning, New Kensington, Cranberry Twp. and Harmar Twp.  Of those locations, while a little but further away, The Days Inn in Harmar Twp. probably provides the second best option to Butler as it is a short, easy trip down Routes 356 & 28 and the area is loaded with restaurants, hotels and retail options.

How to get involved: The Inaugural DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede is more than a three-day show; it’s also a total fan experience.  The Round Up Tent will be open each night after the on track action has come to a close with music to help you unwind.

In Closing: Don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part in this exciting three-day show at Lernerville Speedway!  The DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede will be the last chance in 2011 to see our Fab Four Racing divisions, plus four other divisions and another 100-lap Enduro on Saturday Night.  For rules and procedures for the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede, log on to www.Lernerville.com and click the Steel City Stampede tab on the left-hand side of our homepage.
