MLRABatesville, Arkansas (10/20/11) – On the heels of a pair of runner-up finishes last weekend Billy Moyer Jr. will take his #21jr Henderson Motorsports/Car City/Imperial Motors/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle this weekend in the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic.

Last Friday night found Billy at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri) for the opening night of the 22nd Annual Lucas Oil MLRA Fall Nationals. Twenty-nine cars entered the event, and Moyer Jr. started the night by winning his heat race to lock into the fourth starting spot for the $2,000-to-win feature. During the course of the feature Billy would race his way forward to the second spot before crossing the finish line less than a car length behind his Dad, Billy Moyer. It was a strong way to open the weekend for Jr. Motorsports.

On Saturday night a $3,000-to-win, Lucas Oil MLRA event was held at West Plains Motor Speedway (West Plains, Missouri), and for the second straight night Moyer Jr. would race to the heat race win. Along the way he accumulated more passing points than any other driver to earn the pole starting spot for the feature with John Anderson starting alongside. As the green flag dropped, Anderson fired a little early as he bolted to the lead. Moyer Jr. would chase Anderson for the top spot early in the race before a restart allowed Billy Moyer to race from third to the lead. A few laps later Moyer Jr. would move into the second spot before recording a second place finish to his Dad for the second straight night. Full weekend results are available at www.MLRARacing.com.

This weekend Billy will travel to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) for the second time in 2011 as he enters the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi). The event posts a $15,000-to-win/$1,000-to-start purse for the Super Late Model division. Moyer Jr. qualified for the feature in 2010, but was forced to retire early from the feature with mechanical issues to a 23rd place finish. In 2011 he will be looking to improve on his finish.
