(ZANESVILLE, OHIO) After teaming up with 2 Brothers Motorsports last season and posting five Open Wheel Modified victories together, including two special event wins, Bart Hartman will get his 2012 season started early with a trip to the Sunshine State of Florida. Bart and 2 Brothers Motorsports are scheduled to tackle three Florida venues from February 2-21. The action will get underway later this week at the Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida. Three Open Wheel Modified events will take place at Ocala and the tripleheader will be headlined by a $5,000 to win show on Saturday, February 4.
Following the trip to BRP and a couple of days off, Bart will invade the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida from February 9-11 for part of the ‘Winternationals.’ Another $5,000 top prize will be on the line in the Open Wheel Modified finale on that Saturday at the “Clay by the Bay.” The dirt-slinging competition for the #75 team in Florida will conclude from February 14-21 at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. The busy week at the Daytona Beach area speedplant will feature a variety of different programs including the $5,000 to win ‘Gator Championship’ on February 20.
