Longview, Texas (03/14/12) –Morgan Bagley will go after his second $10,000 win of the early 2012 season this weekend in the 2nd Annual Pelican 100 at Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) in his #14m P&W Sales/Rocket By R.E. Consulting/Clements Super Late Model.

Morgan was last in action two weeks ago on March 3rd, when he took part in the annual Texas Dirt Track World Championship at The Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway (Justin, Texas). Thirty-nine cars registered for battle in the $3,500-to-win, Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) Super Late Model event. Bagley began the night by winning his heat race to lock into the pole-starting spot for the 35 lap feature with Will Vaught joining him on the front row. As the race went green Morgan would slip to second behind the leader, Vaught. A few laps later Jack Sullivan would relegate Bagley to the third spot, and that’s where he would go on to finish in the event behind race winner, Sullivan, and John Anderson. Full results and the latest standings are available at www.SUPRRacing.com.

This weekend, March 16th-17th, the team will make the short trek to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for the 2nd Annual Pelican 100 at the 1/4 mile oval. With a $10,000 winner’s share on the line the event gets underway on Friday night with time trials and heat race action. Saturday night’s program will be headlined by b-mains, a last chance race, and the 100 lap finale. For more information on the event, please visit www.ArkLaTexSpeedway.com .
