“We had a tremendous racecar all night long,” stated Cook following the triumph over the weekend. “I was able to qualify on the pole and that got us off to a great start. Then in the feature, Brian (Reese) actually jumped us on the start, but I was able to get back by him on the first lap and eventually got the win. Things have been clicking pretty well over the past month or so and I am looking forward to racing at Smoky Mountain this upcoming weekend!”
Next up for the D&R Motorsports team will be a trip to the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee this Saturday evening, May 26. The Ultimate Super Late Model Series will sanction a one-day, $4,000 to win program in two days time at the historic speedplant.
