Defending DIRTcar Late Model National Champion Ryan Unzicker of El Paso, Ill., finished fourth after he and Babb battled the majority of the 40-lap main event. Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., rounded out the top five.

With the win, Shirley unofficially stretched his point lead to 39 markers over defending champion Shannon Babb of Moweaqua, Ill., with seven events remaining.
