Lebanon-I-44-Speedway(LEBANON, Missouri) – With just five weeks remaining in the 2012 season at Lebanon I-44 Speedway, the pressure is elevated, tensions are high, and the racing action is starting to heat up at Missouri’s only asphalt oval. Another exciting night of racing action awaits fans this Saturday as the ‘World 50’, an extended O’Reilly Auto Parts ASA Late Models main event featuring an expanded payout, headlines the 15th ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ program of the year on O’Reilly Auto Parts Night at the Races.

“We’re really ending our year with a bang,” said Lebanon I-44 Speedway Promoter Kevin Greven. “Going out with the ‘World 50’, ‘High Banks 100’, and twin features on Championship Night really puts these ASA Late Model drivers to the test and gives fans both an exciting show and a true champion.”

While the ASA Late Models definitely garner most of the spotlight over the final month, fans have compelling championship battles to follow in the track’s other four weekly divisions. Two of those divisions will be in action on Saturday as the Budweiser Modifieds and Hoosier Tire Road Warriors highlight the undercard to wow fans with their trademark paint-swapping racing action. Spectator gates open up at 5:00 p.m., with a strong slate of trucks and ASA stock car racing scheduled to get underway at 7:30 p.m. on the 3/8th-mile oval.

Lebanon I-44 Speedway offers an alcohol-free grandstand, featuring aluminum seating with seat-backs, along with tier parking for cars, pickup trucks and RV’s where patrons may park, tailgate and view the races.  Known amongst I-44 race fans as the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’, beer may be brought in by fans to the tier parking areas, while full food and non-alcoholic beverage concessions are available in both the grandstands and tier parking, along with a souvenir and track apparel stand.

Admission prices will remain just $10 for Adults, ages 16 and older, in the grandstands while Adult admission on the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ will remain just $15. Discounted admission will be offered in both locations for Military members with an ID present, as well as Seniors (ages 65 and older) and Juniors (ages 11-15), and Children (ages 10 and younger) will be admitted for free. A grandstand Family Pass for two Adults and two Juniors plus any number of Children is available for $25, while six Adults entering in the same vehicle on tiered parking will be admitted to the ‘Budweiser Wild Side’ for $75.

“Personally, I think the most exciting part of these bigger shows is the direct effect it has on the crowd,” said Greven. “We tend to get many first-time fans and the crowd size swells and that’s exciting to see new race fans out here at I-44. With the final five weeks ahead of us and some great programs on tap, nobody is going to beat the value or the bang for your buck that we offer here at I-44. It’s the best entertainment value in Mid-Missouri hands down.”

Lebanon I-44 Speedway is located four miles east of the Lebanon city limit on Historic Route 66. Patrons using Interstate 44 may take Exit 135 and then drive approximately one mile east on Route 66 to the track’s main entrance. Additional information about the track’s 2012 ‘Kickin’ Asphalt’ racing schedule may be found on the facility’s official website, www.i44speedway.net, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/Lebanon-I-44-Speedway, and on Twitter (@i44Speedway).
