(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Wendell Wallace and his #6m team scored a podium finish in their only event over the Labor Day holiday weekend. On Sunday, September 2, they traveled to the Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri for the 42nd Annual ‘4-State Dirt Track Championship,’ which was sanctioned by the MARS DIRTcar Series. Wendell ran third in his heat race, which locked him into the $4,000 to win feature event. In front of the record crowd in the 35-lapper, the Batesville, Arkansas native moved all the way up to the third spot to finish behind only race winner Jesse Stovall and runner-up Billy Moyer. Next up for the Wendell Wallace Autosports team will be the 2nd Annual ‘Rockabilly 45’ at the Northeast Arkansas Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas on September 7-8. The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series will preside over the two-day show. Friday’s program will be headlined by a $1,500 to win feature, while Saturday’s event will boast a $3,000 top prize.
