(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Dennis Erb Racing team invaded the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on October 26-27 for the 9th Annual ‘Cotton Pickin 100.’ On Friday night during preliminary action, Dennis Erb, Jr. laid down the fourteenth quickest lap in his group during qualifying and later moved up to grab the third and final transfer spot in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the eighth row in Saturday’s $15,000 to win feature event, Dennis methodically advanced forward in the 100-lapper and eventually crossed underneath the checkers in the tenth position. Next up for Dennis and his #28 team is scheduled to be a trip to the immaculate Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina from November 1-3 for the PEAK Motor Oil ‘World of Outlaws World Finals’ Presented by NAPA Auto Parts. Two rounds of qualifying will start the big weekend on Thursday night, while a pair of $10,000 to win, 50-lap feature events will headline the action on Friday and Saturday. A national television audience will witness all of Saturday’s wheel-to-wheel competition, as the program will be broadcast on the SPEED Channel.
